I believe in the common good The common good cannot be adequately protected by a patronizing set of laws where one group decides what is good for all. This is one of those areas where the Confusian golden rule is better than the Christian. It is not as important to try to do good things for people as it is to refrain from doing bad things to them. Regulation, when done well, restrains people from doing the bad by neglect or malice. TP
