supplied by QCOM. They are moving to a new 2.4 Mbps 1X EVDO wireless technology which does streaming
color multimedia on phones and laptops. This is a show piece for the World soccer finals starting May 31.

I know that Bill Gates is attacking Nokia head on abd moving heaven and earth to get Microsift operating system software into wireless cellphones and PDA's.This is to be a super high growth market. Qualcomm has a relentless ASIC chip product development team that outpaces those of all other companies. Korean Samsung incorporates these into new phones at high speed.

April 8, 2002 (SEOUL) -- Overall sales of cellular phones in Korea soared by a yearly comparison of 40 percent
during the first quarter of 2002, according to industry sources.

According to documents released by both Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. and LG Electronics Inc., Korea's two
major mobile handset manufacturers, demand for mobile phones reached an estimated 4.07-4.17 million units during
the January-March period. Demand in the same period of 2001 stood below 3 million units.

The report shows that color mobile phones accounted for more than 40 percent in sales, emerging as a key product
in the market.

Samsung Electronics supplied 2.4 million units, obtaining a 55.2 percent share of the market, followed by LG
Electronics with 1.01 million units, a 24.8 percent share.

In the color mobile phone market, Samsung held a 48.7 percent, followed by LG with 36.2 percent.
