I am very disappointed that anyone here would feel that they have to refrain from posting thier opinions due to retaliation and/or hassles that result.
One quick solution is change your SI profile to give no information to others who may hassle you. If they choose to use SI to hassle you then its there for everyone to see ( which is against the SI terms of use by the way).
Waaco, did you say Waaco, let me give all of you MY OPINION on Waaco:
With regards to Waaco, I just have one thing to say.... GIFS.... thier undying hype of that stock, which has since gone into recievership, is practically criminal. There is not a single GIFS investor who was in the stock when it collapsed who doesn't point to Waaco as the primary promoter of that scam and the distributor for the long line of lies that resulted in many people loosing thousands of dollars. There was much debate here on an SI thread about GIFS, and much evidence that the company was shakey at best, and I came away from the situation convinced that Waaco actively assisted GIFS in scamming investors, so actively they should be considered accessories to the crime. By the way, I'm not exagerating the GIFS situation here, the CEO/ex-CEO of gifs is currently a federal fugitive who probably escaped the country with 100's of thousands of $'s if not millions. I can assure all of you of one thing, the guys as Waaco were not among the losers on the GIFS deal. Now I'm not against Waaco profiting from stock promotions, nothing comes free, but professional investors such as the Waaco crew know a scam when they see it, and I think they knew GIFS was a scam at some point before the rest of us did, and if they were responsible people they would have terminated their relationship with GIFS rather than aid in the continuation of the scam ( there can be no better example of this than thier use of "Mr Smart Investor", who made an appearance right here on SI ). The information from Waaco only serves to make them richer at someone elses expense, probably yours. |
