A lot of it is interpretation of tone of voice which doesn't easily come through in text, imho ... also it is hard to see how discussion between believer and non-believer can long keep itself from the sarcastic, the two are conceiving their wording in distinct worlds of thought .... faith is faith, doubt is doubt, and never the twain shall meet, perhaps ... for this reason i mostly leave alone threads of religion ... ditto politics, lol .... mon-fri is 'get us these days our weekly bread' time anyway ..... too many posts here to catch up, but what is this 'Dithers has turned the tables'?

I think likely all present have much more in common than we have in differences, it's just that only the latter make for vigourous discussion, such is our nature that we seek the adversarial ... eh
