Some churning today...
Saw an article that suggested that if bmy
is bought out, it may not go for all that
much, something in the lower $40s I think.
That doesn't seem worth holding it, when
pharma is likely to be weak this year, and
it may very well trend down some more.
Exited that.
Large Scale is very weak today, sell now,
ask questions later. Exited that minor position.
SS asked about the gene therapy meeting--after
reading the presentation pdf, I did not have good
vibes about tgen. I sold a few thousand shares.
CEGE was up nicely today...sometimes I feel that
I need to take an acceptable trade, to pay for
the loser trades. That is not good trading, but
I did it anyway.
I did a suck trade in INCY.
And a couple other minor sucky trades.
fwiw, I have put 1000 eln in an an account
where I don't churn. I am going to look at it
again in the fall, maybe add another 1000 shares
then.
I think I am right around 15% stocks right now.
Genset is doing lousy today.
I am not adding any shares of that, but
was sorely tempted.
Finally, cphaf had news last week.
See the UK news services--seems the insiders
gobbled up those shares at five pence--so what
is that, somethin like seven cents for cphaf!?
Lousy wankers. I bought extra shares with
an average price of 15 cents these past six
months--Gee, I think I would have liked seven
cents a lot better.
Grumpy!
