Pumping can be done many different ways. Issuing PRs are one way to pump it (by insiders). Other forms of pumping including systematically buying small amount at ask to create a false pretend of the stock is in demand (by a group of manipulators), and begin to dump large amount of shares when price hit targets. Another form of pumping or manipulating including loading up shares at low prices by MMs and let it run to target price on low volume, narrowing spread on the way up to entice buying, and open up large spread to prevent selling when they begin to walk the price down (common practice by MMs). This is clearly what is happening with this stocks today. There will be more waves for me to play with this stock from now until July. Management has incentive to move the stock higher until July to issue less common shares from conversion. Shareholders need to buy shares back to qualify for the conversion. MMs are aware of this, and will run it up and down, and they will make mega bucks on both run up and walk down on naked shorting.
