You cut your electricity usage by thirty percent, or your total energy usage (gasoline, diesel, and Natural gas, if you use it)?

If you reduced your electricity usage 30%, understand that doesn't have a lot to do with oil. Very little (if any) electricity in California is produced from burning oil based fuels. Most of the electricity in California is from hydroelectric, Nuclear, or burning Natural Gas (or coal, generated out of state).

Though any conservation effort is good.
