Anybody want to buy a small California hardware/software company for $40 million? Per Investor Relations, earnings will be released on 7/16/97 at 8:00 a.m. California time. First Call's update this week estimates a mean (four analysts) of .03, but that includes a high of .13 from a sharp analyst who evidently missed the pre-announcement or didn't bother updating his estimate. Low estimate was -.02. Other estimates must have been break even and .01. Historical facts: CRNR has never traded below $5; traded at $5 only once before today, on 7/31/96. Today's close, 5 1/4, is the lowest close in CRNR's history. Previous was 5 3/8 on 8/5/96. CRNR has never closed below 6 more than five days consecutively (8/96). It's always darkest before the dawn (we hope).
