ICN Is rebounding some today after the article on Barron's about the IPO of Ribapharm.<g>

siliconinvestor.com

Although none of the money from the IPO will go to ICN, they still will control 80% of Ribapharm stock after the IPO.<g>

And it is possible that some time in the future ICN will spin off Ribapharm stock to its shareholders in a "tax free transfer".<g>

And of course Ribapharm stock should do well in spite of its declining revenues and earnings, not only because UBS Warburg has a good record on its recent IPOs (up about 18%)but also since Milan Panic is going to have 5 million options exercisable at the IPO price.<g>

And since he is 71 years old and the shareholders of ICN want to have him out, it seems fair that he should have some consolation. ( I am somewhat biased for people in his age group.<g)
