RE:"You must think we all have Alzheimers. You were the guy praising AG as he ratcheted rates upwards to save us from non-existent inflation and now you warn us of what was really being accomplished by your hero - Systemic deflation."

You don't have Alzeimers? lol...
John it's been two years since the Dot-com bubble burst...things cycle and and things change.
You've been touting the deflation mantra for over 2.5 years...I think you will be right! Eventually. I realize however that even if we do agree that I will be the one that is wrong...<G>
I've been predicting the deflationary spiral for well over a year now going on 2.
YES...inflation was rampant 2-3 years ago...asset inflation, real estate inflation that is.... Now still it's a mixed bag...Real estate is strong but bubbling, everything else has been settling out. When RE goes we are toast.
As far as AG, well I think the forces in play, Y2K, Dot com, RE tax cut were just too strong a bunch of forces for his hikes to have much of an effect anyway. We were and are destined for a big adjustment.
If I was wrong about anything it was just how far and long the markets would bubble and that the Y2K computer glich problem would be a dud.

RE:"something I warned about in many many posts to you wherein I insisted and still insist there IS NO INFLATION CONCERN ONLY DEFLATION TO BE WORRIED ABOUT"...

Yes, this is true...but you said it 2.5 years ago and RE values here have doubled in many cases here in that length of time...not to mention all the stuff that goes with it like materials and labor cost. So as usual...you were maybe half right...but unlike most on this thread would will bring up a 2.5 year old post to make a bogus point, I won't call you on it...as what is important is where we go from here.

As far as cheapening the dollar...humm gold been looking pretty good for a while now......
