Andrew, It depends on the book. I buy all technical books from Amazon and the damage to my bank account is significantly less than it would be if I were to shop at a local bookstore. 40% discounts are not bad, ya know. Barnes and Nobles is prohibitely expensive when it comes to technical literature. My $0.02 Alex.
