"a cause that is useless". Defending the lives of your family is a useless pursuit?....since when? There isn't a better reason to fight than to fight for your family. Israel is fighting for its survival. They've been quite successful as well. An Israeli officer stated just a short time ago, that they've found stashes of bomb belts & piles of other armaments along with those who planned to use them against innocent civilians. That's why they're starting to pull out of a few areas already. They've accomplished what they set out to do.....get those first who were targeting their own children, mothers, wives, sisters and all other defenseless non-combatants. I can't believe your mind doesn't grasp the difference between the two methods.
