Dan, et al,

FWIW I didn't find anything of significance about PMs in Barron's this week. However, in Randall W. Forsyth's column this week it is suggested that we could be headed for a period of Stagflation. It is also suggested that the Mexican peso may have topped out and that the Canadian dollar may have bottomed. Both would be consistent with a rising POG.

The GMI/POG ratio:

On 04/04, the Barron's GMI was 497.02 up significantly from the previous week's 420.86. With the POG essentially unchanged at 301.00 (04/05), the ratio was up significantly to 1.65.

The ratio a year previously was 1.09.

Cheers,
Larry
