Oh yeah, *sure* this will be good for BRCMs stock.

They've proven that they haven't been able to make a dime in profit over the last 4 years selling cable modem chips, so now they decide to move into CELLULAR modem chips!

And as we all know, profits for cellular manufacturers are SKY HIGH and have HUGE MARGINS and almost NO COMPETITION. (lol)

The industry is so bright that Nokia, Ericsson, Samsung and Motorola are just rolling in profits! Their stocks are going through the roof! (lol again)

Henry was quoted today as saying this is the most important acquisition in BRCM's history. If it's more important than their previous 21 acquisitions (from the cable modem chipset universe) then that means he expects cell phones to be a major source of revenue for BRCM- at least a "most important" one.

LOL!

Who does Henry think he is fooling? Look for a slew of 144 filings soon as the Nicholas gang unloads another hundred million of stock.

This press release and conference call were taken directly from the playbook of Amazon.com. Remember when Bezos had "the most important announcement in the history of e-tailing" and it turned out to be that they were going to sell power tools and appliances?

And then the 144 filings came through 30 days later and Bezos and the exec staff had unloaded huge blocks of stock- likely on the day of the pre-announcment press release.

If this were April 1st, BRCMs press release would have made more sense..
