So, you're a choice #1 person; we already knew that. Though there are some people who see roughly $3B/year going to Israel, some Blackhawk helicopters and a few other trinkets; they see the US waffle over what 'without delay' means...it's immediate, but there is no schedule...Bush isn't joking...but he can't tell what a sovereign leader what to do...Powell hopes that the pull out in two Palestinian towns is the beginning....while he knows that the Israelis are moving into other towns. You've got 10s of millions of people that believe that Israels actions are state sponsored terrorism. You've got the US equipping and funding the State of Israel and you have an increasing number of those 10s of millions of people believing that the US is complicit in that state sponsored terrorism. You can say to those 10s of millions of people that it's patently ridiculous to make that claim. Guess what? Your assertion won't make a rat's ass difference and all the PR in the world won't change their mind. As long as the money flows to Israel, as long as Sharon keeps on quoting GW. Bush justifying his actions on the West Bank, as long as Bush continues to say it's all Arafat's fault and Sharon has a right to defend himself [but implicitly the Palestinians don't], the Arab world will believe more and more that the US is cooperating with Israel to exterminate the Palestinians. Read the US papers, the European news,...the Israeli news...everyone knows that Bush is 'involved' in the ME, only because it intereferes with the plan for Iraq. Meanwhile the rallies in Iran cheer the speaker who says that as soon as Iran gets nuclear capability, it's going straight to Israel; and they expect a retaliatory response; it's not an issue. jttmab
