I am inclined to agree with you, Karen. The numbers of those applying to the priesthood has already fallen off sharply (hardly a surprise). I think there will have to be a lot of restructuring and redefining -- maybe along the lines of marriage as an option for parish priests, women priests, and similar. I have mixed feelings about all of this, in terms of whether the "new and improved" Church will still stand for the same principles. Obviously, we automatically agree to disagree on whether the latter would be good or bad. ;-) JC
