If the final vote is determined before the trial date and it turns out that Deutsche Bank's votes were _not_ needed after all, will this be enough for the case to be dropped?

I hate to say this. It might depend on the margin of victory. The theory being that if HP twisted Deutsche Bank's voting arm, they also twisted some other large arms.

Elephant's arms are easier to twist then fleas. Many elephants are suppose to vote in the fleas best interest not the elephants. Some Elephants do not have fleas. The law may still frown upon twisting their arms because it may hurt the fleas. The law does this to protect the fleas because without fleas there would be fewer elephants. Of course, elephants aren't suppose to have arms in the first place. <G>
