Europa Cruises Corporation Announces the Selection of Leo A. Daly of Las Vegas As its Architectural/Engineering Firm MADEIRA BEACH, Fla., April 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Europa Cruises Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: KRUZ - news) announced today that the firm of Leo A. Daly has been selected and has agreed to serve as the architectural/engineering firm for Casino World, Inc. The Company intends to negotiate a contract with the firm to perform architecture, engineering, interior design and planning services for a destination casino resort and hotel in Mississippi. The Company intends to build a themed, destination casino resort and hotel and other amenities at its 404 acre site on the Bay of St. Louis in Diamondhead, Mississippi.
Leo A. Daly was selected for this role based on the experience of Francis Xavier, Dumont, AIA, who would serve as lead designer. Mr. Dumont is a Vice President and the Managing Principal of the Las Vegas office of Leo A. Daly, the third largest architecture and engineering firm in the United States with approximately 900 employees in 15 offices worldwide.
According to Mr. Dumont, ``the Casino World site has the potential to be the premier gaming site on the Gulf Coast. Mr. Dumont is recognized as a leading expert in casino design. He was recently featured in the March-April 2002 edition of Las Vegas magazine, is a frequent guest lecturer at gaming conventions and has been quoted in numerous trade publications. Mr. Dumont was responsible for the design of the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort in Atlantic City, recognized as one of the most palatial casinos in the country. Mr. Dumont also designed Resorts International Hotel Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Splash Casino Resort in Henderson Point, Mississippi, Xanadu Resort in Detroit, Michigan, Riverside Hotel in Laughlin Nevada, Cocopah Casino in Somerton, Arizona, the Delta Blues Casino Resort in Greemville, Mississippi, the Suncoast Hotel & Casino Expansion in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Sandia Casino, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Gold Strike Resort in Jean, Nevada, President Riverboat Complex, in Davenport, Indiana, the Oasis Resort in Mesquite, Nevada, Green Energy Futures Park in Boulder City, Nevada, Point de Plaisance in St. Maarten, and designed the Master Plan for Paradise Island in the Bahamas. Europa Cruises Corporation, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Casino World, Inc., intends to build a themed, destination casino resort and hotel at its 404 acre site on the Bay of St. Louis in Diamondhead, Mississippi. There is no outstanding debt and there are no liens on the property. The Company is actively engaged in the process of seeking a joint venture partner and financing for the Diamondhead project.
