Her story is coherent, the details are consistent and have been confirmed, and she told it to two other people within hours of the event. The witnesses confirm that she told them the story. They confirm that she had been beaten up by someone.

This is sufficient evidence for a citizen to form an opinion on the matter. You may give Mrs. Broadrick the thumb up or down but you may not say one may not hold an opinion because a court never decided the issue.
