I wouldn't trust Arafat as head dog catcher, let alone as head of a Palestinian state.

I think that Israel ought to overtly repudiate the Oslo accords, instead of doing it de facto through settlements. And if Israel is going to be an occupying power, they at least ought to do a proper job of it, i.e., go in with overwhelming force, and then run the area with firmness, fairness and justice.

I think the time for walking fine lines is over.
