That's not what his victims said.

Not quite. Clinton actually defended the pardon (tho it is indefensible). What Clinton regrets is the fallout, i.e., that he was caught and that his reputation will be forever tarred (by his actions).

Clinton cannot be shamed. He is a sociopath and sees events only in relation to how he is affected.
