Unless we can be as alert and critical regarding our own government

Nobody wants a central government just so we will have some place to toss our tax money. I maintain that it is a serious mistake to neglect the regulation of the commons as the Bush administration seems intent upon doing. A great deal of public benefit gets ruined for the profit of a few.
