re: eln

If you really want to hear one side of the story on Elan (prior to price drop), I recommend Herb Greenberg's (a subscription to realmoney.com is very cheap -- if you are a common stock purchaser) commentary on Elan, listen to Elan's conference calls, and read the expose on Elan in the WSJ (cover page) about 2-months ago.

Every other research item that I found on the firm, prior to the collapse, offered $0 value. Telling an investor of the problems after a price decline is worthless. I like to listen to people who research info, are objective, and put out valuable insights. Enter Herb Greenberg.
