SCS - Delete original provisions; amend KRS 218A.202 to authorize the Cabinet for Health Services to provide data from the electronic monitoring system for scheduled drugs to state, federal, or municipal officers who are engaged in a bona fide specific investigation involving a violation where there is an identifiable trend of illegal drug diversion in a geographic area; require the Governor's Office for Technology, in consultation with the Cabinet for Health Services, to apply for federal funds for a pilot project implementing a real-time electronic system to monitor prescriptions for scheduled drugs in two rural counties; apply the data collection, disclosure, access, and penalties provisions to the pilot project; EMERGENCY.
