That's a pretty creative description for the crimes commited by someone who barely escaped several years in prison, by an equally-creative appeal.
The problem is believing anyone, at this point, considering the cocaine issue, illegal arms-for-hostages, and the rest of it, all then justified by terrorists, "fooling the Ayatolla", etc.
I've gotten to the point of not believing those who lie to me (the American people), to Congress, etc., and then expect the rest of their story to justify these lies.
There is too much passion for secrecy over the past 20 years, too much outright lying, and acceptance of lies by insiders as SOP. I believe no one at this point that I can't corroborate or audit. What is secret, I now assume, is corrupt, or becomes that way very quickly. |
