Right. The poster got the context wrong and I missed it. No carpet bombing of Aghanistan cities. As for the other part of your response, I think it's wrong to assume that all civilian casualties which resulted from American bombing were because the Taliban shielded themselves among the population. They did; and some of the casualties can be considered to have resulted from that. I doubt all did.
