Anyone:
I have a fairly recent (bought it a year ago) Microsoft optical mouse which has indigestion. In the last three weeks or so, when i set it to default settings for the buttons it will only hold those settings while booted up.Upon reboot it loses the default settings. Once reset after booting up, It also, with the left side button, (set to go back-default)goes back 2 or more web pages etc. with one click. I cannot get it to go back one page etc.
Is this a software problem. I installed an updated driver from microsoft about 6 weeks ago when prompted by windows update so I assume, but maby wrongly that this was a newer, thus better driver, but I did not have this problem, as far as I know after the install of this more recent driver. any suggestions?Any known defects?
