Gary, re: Athlon XP and P4 Prices

I finally updated the web page where I have also been tracking this information. It includes one additional graph of potential interest: the Model Rating to P4-MHz discount.

home.attbi.com

The release of the XP 2100+ didn't help AMD's processor price range much - too modest of an increase especially in light of the P4-2.2 and P4-2.4 GHz processors. Even comparing model to mhz AMD is now three steps behind. AMD's discount to list has also widened to historical highs but the forthcoming price drops should reduce this fiction.

EDIT: I couldn't find a current Intel list price sheet - the one I typically use on Intel's site doesn't include the P4-2.4 and the PR for this release indicated the same price point previously occupied by the 2.2. Probably the others all just stepped down one position. Any assistance would be appreciated or I can grab the data with the next price adjustments as Intel notes the prior price.
