www.nasdaq.com had a news item stating Apple was halted pending news. However it was at around 4:30pm (i.e. after close). As a result I don't know that it has traded after hours. I don't know what the price is going to do but it has me nervous. I am short the stock so my wallet hopes it will nosedive (I also think the timing of the announcements so close to earnings may not be a coincedence). However, I really hate to see Apple in much more trouble as I have always thought they had valuable technology and made significant contributions to the industry. dave
