Tom, the odds and prior history of what's happened in Japan the past several years are in your favor. So it would be foolish to dismiss or make light of your read of the Nikkei chart.

The Strength, wave structure and the big increase in the Monetary Base in Japan make me think that they may be doing something new here.

I also have been influenced by Marc Faber's views on Japan.
He's talked about how the market could have a 40% rally for a few reasons. It will be interesting to watch.

Interestingly Japanese long rates look to have bottomed last July.
