So, in somewhere between the 7th and 9th centuries, AD, the Khazars were supposedly a pagan kingdom where the king decided he'd had enough of being a pagan, and invited representatives of all major religions to talk about their religions... he listened to all of them and decided to convert his kingdom to Judaism. As the legend has it, eventually these people all disappeared. No wonder I didn't know about the Khazars......they didn't teach legends at my middle school. <g> Was it the rapture again that took all those people? That rapture turns up in the damnest places. ted
