No carpet bombing of Aghanistan cities

From what I have read, John, we used the B-52's for what was called, in Vietnam, "Arc-light" strikes. These were used against Taliban fixed positions, and were devastating. "After Action" reports from the North Vietnamese say that these strikes against them were the most feared American actions of the war. This is link to a military analysis of them.
