Never said anything of the sort. Where do you think up such fairytales?

Try to follow my logic:

It costs X amount of money to run the government.

Right now, the richest of the rich are paying Y amount of money to run the government, and the middle class is paying Z amount to run the government.

If we lower the tax burden for the richest of the rich, then the middle class will have to pick up the slack, because it will still cost X amount of money to run the government.

Having said that, there is a way to lower taxes for the richest of the rich: Make Big Business ... all Big Business ... pay its fair share ... instead of having to deal with tax obscenities such as Enron only paying federal taxes one year of the past five.
