Mike...other comparisons worth considering...

All the warfare technology favors Israel by a factor of at least 1000. Israel..1000 Palestineans 0.

We saw this in Viet Nam....American Technology vs the Vietnam fighters wearing sandals. Vietnam had no airforce no helicopters no high tech gear it still didn't do us any good .
Look at Afghanistan....six months of high tech warfare vs the 10th century fighters of that country and our objectives are still far from complete.

Arafat and Sharon represent the worst inclinations on both sides of the conflict. So I think they should both leave.
While all of this goes on, Bush's war on terrorism goes no where. Iran and Iraq are laughing at Bush. Is any Arab or European country going to lift a finger to help Bush go after Sadam??? So the Arab/Israeli conflict becomes a problem Bush must try and solve. Bush likes nice simple equations ("we will go after the terrorists, where ever they are at...you are with us or you are against us") nice rhetoric but the ME conflict does not lend itself to simple TV sound bites.
