i think you guys are being too harsh on PCSTEL and too easy on engineer. here is what engineer wrote: Your are totally full of S**T in your posts and it is not just a simple plug and play for anyone, EVER... I could care less if you, super technogeek can hook it up and maitain it. that is pretty insulting (not to mention in violation of the Scientific Method), and is also incorrect. as it happens, i was able to hook up such a system myself and i ain't no technogeek. in fact, i won't even bother installing something if i have to read the manual for more than a minute or 2. it doesn't surprise me, though, if an arrogant member of the pocket protector brigade can't install something when i can, because i don't assume i know what i am doing and they do. also, i "trust" the ease of installation of consumer friendly products (especially those made by Apple), whereas many geeks always have to get under the hood.
