If someone committed murder in a housing project or in the master bedroom of a governor's mansion, it's murder either way. Either crime would be prosecuted under the same state statutes; no legal distinction could be made because of economic status of the residence.

Same applies to the recent Supreme Court ruling regarding drug use in public housing. Can't have one set of rules for the rich and one for the poor.
