Actually many DO pray facing Jerusalem straight : Muslims in Turkey, Ukraine, Sweden (where this Qwetch dame doubles Arafat Nobel), Alaska (where Muslims Ramadan followers keep dieing dried up every few years when the Great Feast is around the summer solstice, same for Jews kippouring btw); while muslim in Jericho and Amman do show their back to Jerusalem, physically speaking of course.
