I can tell you a dope-house tale that is crazy. My neighbor bought a house 5 miles away and turned it into a 3 unit apartment building. He checked it often and was strict on no dope in the building. He even gave the police a set of keys so they wouldn't damage the place on drug searches which they did twice with 0 results. He took in section 8 people, the county pays their rent, and they were selling drugs off premises. They nailed him for profiting from drug sales because he was taking money from the county to house drug dealers known to the county. He spent two years in the can and two on probation and lost the house. What's even worse was I had met his neighbor who called me three days after his arrest and with Charley gone they were hauling drugs into the building in GARBAGE BAGS. I called a uniform I fish with and he relayed it to the detectives but they didn't care. The place turned into a crack house for the year it was under city ownership.
