i would dispute the estimate of 1 million american casualties... nevertheless, it would have been military casualties NOT innocent civilians. i don't get that emotional when there are a lot of military casualties, because they chose to put their lives at risk to protect their country... whereas the killing of innocent civilians, no matter who they are (race, color, or creed), affects me emotionally.
