I suspect they will adjust the divisor, like they do when a stock splits the right way. -g-

Fundamentally, my guess it could be viewed as hugely bearish for telecom because T is essentialy admitting they don't expect improvement any time soon, and it might hurt tech, but I don't think it will have much fundamental effect on non-tech stocks. JMHO...

Remember those rumors a few months ago that T was on the verge of insolvency?
