It seems like all the major business houses in India are jumping into it so it must be attractive. I am not sure what the lure is but it could be the long distance market. The wireline operators such as BSNL are very profitable and WLL costs less to deploy than wireline. The WLL tariff is exactly the same as wireline except that the monthly rent is almost double for WLL.
