Albert,

interesting, I confess that my simitic features are not very obvious but my brother looks more middle-eastern than any middle-eastern. So what does it tell you?

I can only speculate that some of your ancestors were middle eastern, some where European.

And, on top of that, do not forget that purity of blood (race) is not required in judaism. I am not religious but I know that much. Those experts do not know a Sh!t and you waste your time reading them.

It sparked my curiosity. Actually, I came across this whole Khazar thing during our PM exchange a few weeks ago, when I was looking up something. And now I want to know more. This particular author doesn't seem to be guided by an anti (or pro) semitic agenda, and seems open minded.

Think, Khazars ere very noble and tolerant people, so even if you care about blood lines, you can not be more proud to be descendant of Khazers.

I never said anything otherwise.

Then what is the purpose of the book that contradict common sense that is Yidish, obvious semitic feature, even if, on average, they are less pronounced than in arabs? What is the deal?

I don't know. I have not read it yet. If the author is going through the effort to write a book like this, obviously he must have an answer (or theory) about something that is a major hole in the theory. The reviews can be superficial, and on Amazon, some people use the review feature to argue their political view, regardless of the contents of the book.

1) right to Israel
2) excuses for wwii

Excuses for wwii? That's news to me. I very much doubt the author is making this point. That's just an impression from scanning Amazon reviews, and many where obviously from Jews, and I am sure they would be up in arms if that was the purpose of the book.

1) nor 2) by buying oe reading it.
I don't understand why. Aren't you curious? This may be a big part of your heritage. Wouldn't you want to know about it, and if the author is wrong, to gain ammunition to combat the points he is making.
