MD, I absolutely agree with you on the differences between the terrorists and
true freedom fighters - the World is quickly going downhill nowadays...
For hundreds of years the armies made real effort to limit fighting to between
soldiers only.
It was Hitler's invasion of Poland that became the first TOTAL war against
civilians as well as the military. And the atrocities against civilians and the
Jews and other minorities followed. BUT, later on, under the German
occupation the underground forces would STILL limit their actions to the
German military targets, and the known collaborators. Remarkable, but true.
Today, sadly, there are NO rules left... The terrorists strike at random, and
may even achieve their aims, because the World begins to NOTICE them.
Sad...
