I called the company today and spoke with Margo. She said that the Griffon property will start construction the first week of August and they expect to have the permit for Olinghouse in August as well. Copper flat is still held up but she has hopes for it by the end of the year. She said there are other possibilities for that property as well. She confirmed that they are forward sold for up to 18 months at $335 and their cost to produce is about $200 per Oz. so they are in good shape for the long term.

Good old Ted Turner and Jane Turncoat. They say they are trying to hold up permiting for Copper Flat for environmental reasons but word is that they use the adjoining property for those high dollar guided hunts. That sure does fit right in with the hypocracy I am used to seeing from that camp. Ted also want's to get the National Anthem changed (seriously). I would imagine that Jane probably put him up to that. After all, everytime she hears it, she probably gets visions of North Vietnamese Soldiers. God only knows what all she did there in North Vietnam while Americans were dying in the South but you can be sure that suffering wasn't included. She and Ted make a matched set. I wonder if Ted served his country before he was rich or has he always been too busy serving himself.
