Hi Harry!

Just a quick note(at work!)...never thought of the increased individual debt due to the low borrowing rate but it makes sense.
Overall i'm with you that we just borrowed some time and that the upswing, if it comes, will be not sustainable.
Tradingwise it's a difficult environment if you can't watch it all day and with increasing demand at the day job i'd rather wait for a more stable trend. Might be interesting to establish some positions in the late summer as you said.

BTW one of my barometers for the market is my wife. During the run up in 1999/2000 she was really into the market but the downturn and the losses that came along made her totally disinterested to risk her money again. I don't see the slightest sign in her that the interest is returning and i think that reflects the emotional state of a lot of former market participants despite all the efforts of the media to create a new buzz for the market.
