Why doesn't the government just auction off the logs to the highest bidder. Bingo,...that's the issue. Too many years that is exactly what Canada did,...now it's about jobs for "value added". You want our logs, you pay our people to cut them up for lumber at the least. Better yet even more highly finished products. Otherwise, we start to throw in oil and gas, water, etc., etc., into the trade mix,...and then you declare us to be arabs and nuke us and,......chit happens. Lots of poor squished hamsters :-(((
