MSFT got plan to turn all MS apps users own into rental agreements as of AUG so it could get nasty now but a better buying oppurtunity later.
Don't you think that one day in the near future your existing Office 2000 and XP is just not going to be allowed new registration key when you need to reload it if you have a problem.

I think customers have three choices:

- keep paying MSFT money more every year.

- run older MSFT software that doesn't need to be registered when installing (all software produced in mid 2000 and before.)

- get used to Corel Wordperfect office. ugh
