The Israelis hold all the cards for peace. They hold the military superiority and they hold the land. Arafat is irrelevant. He is just the Palestinian leader of a group of people without a country and without military power. Only if the israelis truly want to live in peace can make it happen. Israel is the one that can make peace. All the palestinians can do is blow themselves up in frustration till the Israelis get it through their head that it's much more beneficial to them to give the land so that they can have peace. Israel's military will solve nothing other than make things worse by making both sides more extreme in their positions and prolong the agony for all Israelis and Palestinians. JMHO.
