AOL- Article. Taking a $54 bil charge this quarter on goodwill. Sure it's a non-cash charge but it shows how absurd the price they paid for TWX was.

I have been sharing my AOL viewpoints over at Z-place over the last week. I don't know if I mentioned it here but I was talking to the chairman of one of the world's top 50 largest companies last week. We talked about AOL. He talks at some colleges and he believes that AOL's merger would end up being a case study in how not to do a merger in relationship to synergies. The market capitalization and share value that has been lost is amazing.

I place a fair value on AOL closer to $15-17. Just my opinion.
