Here is what's up. The company issued its first interesting press release in many moons. Investors are hoping this opens up new markets.

Zoltek unveiled a unique line of carbon fiber products developed from a textile acrylic-based source.

In press releases issued after Tuesday's closing bell, the St. Louis-based firm said that the Panex 35 line "delivers higher tensile modulus and other performance advantages at sustainable lower cost." The product, which is available for commercial shipments immediately, is made from a textile-based precursor developed internally by Zoltek.
